Bisonte Textile Trade and Industry Limited Company was established in January 2021 on the legacy of Ahmet Öztel, who had a long-standing history in the knitwear sector. As the third-generation representative of a family whose foundations were laid through knitwear trading at the Hürriyet Bazaar in Eminönü, Ahmet Öztel aims to bring our company into the modern textile world of today.

Initially focusing solely on the buying and selling of sweaters, the company grew under the visionary leadership of Ahmet Öztel, with significant contributions from his sons Cemal, Kemal, and Mustafa Öztel. In 1994, the trio joined forces to establish Öztel Textile Trade and Industry Limited Company, laying the foundation of what would become today’s Bisonte Textile. This pivotal moment marked the company’s expansion into knitwear manufacturing and the broadening of its business scope.

By relocating its headquarters to Bayrampaşa, Istanbul, Öztel Textile began offering a wide range of products under the CKM, Maxmen, and Roy Austin brands. This move set the stage for export activities to countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Libya, Azerbaijan, and many more, establishing the company as a strong player in international markets and furthering its influence in the knitwear sector.

In 2023, the company entered a new era under the leadership of Abdullah Öztel. As the successor to Öztel Textile, founded by Cemal, Kemal, and Mustafa Öztel in 1994, Bisonte Textile continues to operate from its headquarters in Ümraniye, Istanbul, producing knitwear for corporate brands. We specialize in knitwear products for men, women, children, and infants, positioning ourselves as a leader in the manufacturing sector.

At Bisonte Textile, our primary goal is to provide corporate firms with high-quality knitwear products made from sustainable, natural, and recyclable materials. With an annual production capacity of 100,000 fine-knit and 100,000 thick-knit products, we strengthen our position in the industry through partnerships with our contract workshops.

Looking ahead, our ambition is to develop our corporate brand, Bisonte, and introduce a fresh perspective and new image to mainstream fashion. By using eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton, linen, and wool, we aim to produce comfortable and healthy knitwear, encouraging people to choose the Bisonte brand over garments made from low-quality and harmful materials.
